Portal – As Valve announced during EA’s Summer Showcase, the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 versions of Half-Life 2: Episode Two will be coming along with a new game called Portal. VALVe has taken the idea of portal technology that was featured in the recent game Prey and ran with it. After watching this trailer I realized that I’ve never been this excited for a puzzle game before. I’ve heard rumors about this game tying into the Half-Life series, but I haven’t found confirmation on it yet, so for now I’ll call it a puzzle game. Besides the awesome looking gameplay, it also looks like the Source Engine has been drastically updated with either better graphics or maybe motion blur.
